Cherry blossom engagement shoot, Greenwich Park, London

When Jacqueline and Andrew booked me for their engagement shoot they only had one backdrop in mind - the Spring cherry blossom! The tricky part was finding a suitable location in London that had enough cherry trees to have the look they had in mind. After checking various online sources they set their sights on Greenwich Park, where a small avenue of about 15 trees would set the scene for the entire session. Fortunately, not only did we have the weather on our side, but I had a great pair of models in Jacqueline and Andrew who are such a lovely couple and were fantastic to work with.

We made the most of the sunshine before it set, and the pair even had chance to change into wedding attire for the last part of the shoot (they are getting married later this year in Singapore where the groom is able to see the dress before the day - result!). It is an interesting challenge to create a whole photoshoot in the same small area - whilst sharing it with lots of tourists and locals enjoying the blossom too (timing is key!). However, I love the final results - and I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I did taking them. Here are some favourites from the session:
